“Mondomarine” shipyard of Savona has finally been acquired by Palumbo Superyachts, the yachting division of Palumbo Group.
The Port Authority of Savona approved the concession to Palumbo of the 20 years state concession of the renowned Italian shipyard.
Its short distance from the principality of Monaco makes Mondomarine shipyard a valid point of reference for the yachting sector.
The business horizons of Palumbo Superyachts further expand thanks to this acquisition that increases again the network already consistent of Palumbo Group shipyards in the Mediterranean and East Atlantic (Ancona, Naples, 2 in Messina, Malta, Marseille, Tenerife and recently Rijeka in Croatia, besides the representative office in Monaco).

Several international designers will cooperate with Palumbo Superyachts on the new yacht projects in order to give new lines to the core values of a shipyard with such a long history, like Mondomarine has, founded in 1915.
Born as a small carpentry and metalwork yard serving a local community, Palumbo Group in the past 50 years has grown so much that he can now position himself among the greats of the yachting industry. The multi-brand Group is recognized, today, for the technical know-how and skills further to the many services offered by its widespread network of shipyards, fully equipped with facilities and dry-docks able to service vessels up to 360 meters in length.
