The First Quarter of 2019 has been thriving with activity at 360° at the Palumbo Marseille Shipyard. The Shipyard has implemented the number of employees to offer an even better on-site service through the introduction of one highly experienced Project Manager Coordinator, two Qualified Refit Project Managers and one Logistics foreman. Palumbo SY strongly believes that people are the real driving force within the process of turning Palumbo SY Marseille into a true leader in the Super Yacht refit sector and attracting to Marseille an increasingly higher number of most valuable customers.
The Production department is proud of the result of several important Refit Projects including just to name a few:
MY Boadicea 76m – 20 Year Special Survey: Hull plating renewal, Cleaning 17 Tanks, Tanks inspections and measurements, Welding , Metal works to the tank tops, Exhaust pipe, Plumbing works, Painting, Teak works, etc…
MV Alazizi 43m – Significant Pipe work repairs and Composite repairs
MY Genesia 40m – Hull paint works, metal works for keel and fin installations (paint works in the watershed quoted for this summer)
MY Marina Wonder 38m – Hull paint works, hull and super structure polishing carried out in the watershed (works could not have been performed elsewhere during this weather window)
MY Rola 43m – 5 Year survey: Metal works, Shaft line, Underwater Hull sandblasting and painting
