Samar is a 77 m luxury motor yacht. Built by Devonport in 2006 with interior design by Joe Thorme, she can accommodate 12 guests in 7 cabins. Samar features a displacement steel hull, aluminium superstructure and teak decks. She is powered by engines giving her a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
M/Y Samar arrived at Palumbo SY Malta mid-October 2020 where she had been docked from the 29thJanuary till 17th March. One of the major jobs carried out had been the installation of sponsons to reduce the slamming noise when at anchor.
In addition to the installation, the Yard conducted a full 10 year Lloyd’s survey.
Thanks to the effort of the shipyard team, this luxury Superyacht now being enjoyed by her Owner.
