Commissioned by the owner of a 54.2m yacht who wanted more space for family fun, the 70-metre motor yacht Talisman C was built by Turquoise Yachts in 2011 when the yard was still operating under the Proteksan Turquoise brand name.
Long-time design partner of the yard, H2 Yacht Design created both the striking exterior lines of the superyacht and Talisman C’s luxurious interior.
Being the second yacht built for this owner, H2 Yacht Design incorporated many new features including tender garages, a large transom folding platform, as well as a substantial extra space on the sundeck to add to the already sizeable deck areas.
Her just as roomy and exquisitely appointed interior layout accommodates the master suite forward on the main deck with 180-degree views, split-level bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and even a private library that doubles as a wellness centre. On the same deck there is a VIP double cabin and two further doubles, whereas two additional twin cabins on the lower deck make her well suited for up to 12 guests looked after by 19 crew members.
Relying for the first time on Palumbo SY Refit, Talisman C arrived at the Malta shipyard on 3rd May for her 10-year survey. The major works conducted included: ordinary underwater repairs, survey of the propellers, shafts and rudders (which were all taken out for inspection), removal of stabilizers to allow servicing, top side paint repairs to a number of places, and also pipe works to the fresh water system. Expected to leave on 20th June, both Captain & crew expressed their positive feedback and they’ll definitely be calling on the shipyard expert support in future.
