Built in 2001, she was entirely refurbished in 2013 and this included new sails, installation of entertainment and navigation software and fabulous styling interior design. Her outstanding outdoor spaces include a luxurious aft cockpit with protected lounging and dining, plus a large and comfortable fly-bridge with Jacuzzi. Indoor, the focal point of main deck is a broad saloon surrounded by large windows, an exceptionally generous formal dining room with adjoining pantry and a separate library. Silencio can carry up to 12 people on board comfortably accommodated across a full-beam master suite with a separate sitting room fitted with a pullout double couch and en-suite bathroom, a VIP cabin, a queen double and 2 twin cabin both with additional pullman beds and all with en-suite facilities.
For the ABS Class renewal survey of this impressive superyacht at the Savona facility of Palumbo SY Refit it was possible to haul the vessel without disassembling any of the mast restraint equipment, which has never happened before for this unit. The shipyard expert team has then performed the task of disassembling the rudders, assisting with the dimensional inspection of hull-internal parts and with the inspection of structural tanks for fuel and for grey-black water, replacing anodes, performing maintenance on 25 hull valves and on fire and bilge pumps, painting engine compartment bilge, touching up hull paint and, finally, providing the necessary in order for the safety certificate to be renewed.
