With Andrea Vallicelli’s exterior lines showing off sportive finesse and wrapping up the cozy, contemporary-luxury interior by Francesco Paszkowski Design, motor yacht SAINT was launched by ISA Yachts in 2011 under the name of “Papi Du Papi”. Since then, this successful concept that combines extensive volumes, top performance and low consumption, all encapsulated in a 49.95 m / 163′11″ displacement hull, has made quite a name for herself flaunting her classical, irresistible, Mediterranean charm in the most exclusive destinations worldwide.
Now that she’s changed hands, the new owner has decided to leave an imprint on his investment and suit the décor to his personal tastes, ensuring the interior layouts are fit for his purpose and systems are up to date, upgrading the yacht to the latest standards. As such, he faced the difficult decision on which of the leading facilities to select for the refit. Although location is usually a dominant factor in shipyard selection, on this occasion reputation and past project experience prevailed and the choice fell on Palumbo SY Refit, Ancona, where the yacht was first built. This greatly facilitated the detailed assessment of the yacht’s potential for refit, and the feasibility study on the requested modifications and upgrading. Another winning move was to involve Francesco Paszkowski, alongside with the Palumbo team, in the interior restyling.
In addition, Palumbo SY Refit Ancona has also been appointed to assist with the 10-year RINA CLASS survey. No doubt it’ll all end up in yet another good job accomplished.
