The team of Palumbo SY Refit Naples has successfully applied their knowledge and expertise to an 80-metre ‘prima donna’ of Italian yachting. With steel hull and aluminium superstructure, this multi-award winning luxury vessel was delivered by a leading Italian shipyard in 2013 and boasts exterior design by Zuccon while the interiors were styled by design house Laura Sessa Romboli. Her 2,421 GT volume spread across five decks houses lavish accommodations and exciting features to provide a magnificent stay onboard to up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 30 crew to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience at exceptional comfort levels thanks also to her at-anchor stabilizers. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar 2,680hp engines, she easily cruises at 15 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Besides, being fitted with twin propellers means that she will always get you home in the event a main engine fails. To keep this ocean beauty in pristine conditions, the Palumbo team was assigned the following tasks: withdrawing port and starboard propeller shaft and removing the seals, assisting with the removal of the stabilizer fins, cleaning and painting the hull, polishing propeller shafts and propellers and applying Propspeed, carrying out maintenance work to sea chest and overboard valves, and providing black water tank treatment. By the time the superyacht was handed back to her Owner, she was top notch!
